Hey guys...

I'd like to change the wood trim and the silver door handles in my car...

I don't have the hundreds of dollars to buy actual new pieces (unless someone here has some amazing deal for me!!)

What do you all think the best options are/pros and cons??

A. Painting? (I'd like color suggestions, I have black leather) -- My biggest worry is having a matte spray paint feel instead of a nice smooth natural plastic feel.

B. Vinyl Wrapping -- not real sure what Vinyl wrap feels like?

C. The Carbon Fiber wrapping the PYSpeed is offering up -- afraid it'll feel too fabric-ish and not sure how I'd feel about the carbon fiber look?

Let me know what you guys think, your opinions are greatly valued in my book!

I have the same thought about the fabric feel from PYSpeed, but i think i'm leaning toward the Titanium fabric for that aluminum look of the M5. We'll whatever choice you choose i think it would just depand on your taste.

Vinyl will bubble over time and you'll hate it. Personally I'd just pull the trigger and purchase all new trim of your choosing. If you're going to do something, do it right the first time.

Do a search for piano black trim. looked pretty cool. Doesn't go with my interior but may work with your black interior

Get the carbon fiber from PYSpeed. It will last longer and look better IMO

You can find full trim kits on ebay for around $700-800. Most options are available...silver cube, titanium etc...
Not sure what they go for new from the dealer?

wrapping the trim is not that hard, if you get the CF fabric. Tricky in some places - yes, but not hard by any stretch, unless you are a clumsy person

looks like you're not in position to spend 700-800 on a new set of trim (do correct me if I'm wrong)

no replacing/ wrapping the door handles. You'd have to paint or powdercoat and that just looks like a whole lotta pain in the ...

I'd wrap the trim in CF fabric IF your original trim is noticably flawed. Otherwise, get some money together and just buy the piano black or CF trim - or whatever else you desire.
