Hey guys, I have a question for you....... what is the aversge life expectancy for an oem set of TPMS? I have a set that was removed from the car about 2 years ago, would they still be good? I dont want to sell them if not...... Thanks for your thoughts, Brad

The ones on my 2007 550 lasted 40 months 48K miles with no problem.

It's my understanding that the batteries in the TPMS have an expected lifetime of 10 years. That seems pretty long but certainly should be good for at least half that. Of course they are electronic devices in a hostile environment (bouncing and rolling inside a wheel and tire) ... but they themselves have no "moving parts"!

Correct - the sensors are potted to prevent vibration or other damage.
