tires come in at costco in about a week for the michelin ps2.. after searching the forum it looks like people love the goodyear eagle F1's..

Should I reconsider? Bummer part is that the only tires worn right now is the rear right...

Should I just replace the rear two with the toyo's?

Or replace all 4 with the goodyear eagles or just get the ps2's that are on order..

I live in the bay area. It started raining today.. Looking for a quiet ride with good grip.

Try American Discount Tyre store. They quoted me about $230.00ea for the Mich PS or about $1100 balanced, mounted with warranty for everything.
worth a trip for the quick quote, I think.

nice tip. i'll check tomorrow. It's the sizes of my tires that cost so much.. the 245/35/19 cost $380 each installed and the 285/30/19 cost $470 each!

I'm pretty sure the bulge is on the inside (btw, how dangerous is this? should i not drive on it?) I didn't know our cars cause the bulges from negative camber.
Ive got one in the inside and one on the oustide on my left rear tire.been driving on it for 6 month now. Tires are expansive here and im about to sell my car in MAY. Thats y i havent changed my tires. Coz if i need to change tires, id have to change all 4 tires and it ll cost me 1,700 for Bridgestone Adrenaline.(excluding mounting and balancing).

Should i change them guys or should i wait till i sell the car and the buyer would change them at his expanse.Coz im not going to pay 2,000$ for 5month.Wht do u guys think?

Wht is the worst that can happen? I ve got RFTs, so i thought if it ll blow up, the RFT will save me no?

PS:Sorry Newbiebimmer, didnt mean to hijack ur thread, just thought wasnt worth opening a new thread for this question.

BTW, if im going to change tires, it ll be as urs, TF1s or yokohoma 100s as they have same performance but cheaper $$$. Remember, im still college student and plz dont think im cheap, its just my tuition fee is already 30,000$ yr, so i try to save as much as i can thx

What happened to checking TireRack for pricing? The Yokohama ADVAN Sport sells for $278/tire Front and $349 Rear.....#4 tire on Tire Rack in its class. That's $1254 for all 4, not including shipping.

The #1 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tire and #2 Bridgestone Pole Position RE050A's do not come in a 285/30/19 rear.

MIchelin PS2's (#2 rated): $350/tire Front & $440/tire Rear = $1580 not including shipping. Shipping is around $60.

Of course you'd have to pay for the mounting and balancing locally.

I've had a lot of sidewall issues with T1R's. They suck. Get something else.

The Yokohama ADVAN Sport's seem like the best overall deal, considering price and rating. I had the RE050A's on my xi and didn't like the way they wore....cupped and got loud after 5000 miles.
