i don't want to pay thousands for those just to go to a few track days a year. i will be doing new pads and fluid. i don't think ss lines would do much for me, what are r1 discs? rotors? once the ones on there go bad i would probably just look for some nice blanks, OEM or maybe some cryo ones if they are out there. the ti shims are a good investment.

haha. a lot of people think i actually painted the calipers. maybe i should try selling them to a show guy

i have a hard time beleiving some shims would have prevented your brakes from changing color. you cant take production cars and repeatedly apply the brakes on a course.

sure you can. i have done it many times before actually. this was more of a combo of 1. junk shim 2. me being faster? 3. me using poor braking techniques. i like to blame 1 and 2. my buddy would say more 3 than i'd like to admit. nonetheless, these are stock on a production car but they are 4 piston brembos! most people at track days have their stock brake calipers.
