In fact, 285/35/19s should cause you problems as well...they will likely rub under rough road conditions. More importantly, they are almost 5% larger in diameter than stock and will effect the accuracy of your speed and odometer readings.

285/35/19 config will show: 57.1 mph 95.2 km/h

Speedometer Difference: -
5.009% too slow
Diameter Difference: Diameter Difference: 4.77%

Looks like your running stock M5 tire sizes. They wont work on your car BUT I think someone was successful with having them on by having spacers. I dont know search the forum

True the accuracy is an issue. If you read on, there may also be an issue with mis-matching the overall diameters of the fronts versus the rears with the DCS.

However, they do not rub. The rear e60 fenders are the same as an m5 and the tires are still inside of the wheel well lips.
