These sizes are not correct for non m5 e60s.Tese sizes are for M5

You should have gotten 245/35 and 275/30.Then you wouldnt have any problems

Man oh man i feel sorry for you! Who adviced you to do that?! Those dimensions are not suited for the e60 and apparently you can't do anything about it without major work in the wheel arches or inside (dunno the term). At those sizes not even rolling fenders won't do.

1st why did you get 40 instend of 35 for the 19"?
2nd 255 for the front is too big.
3rd have you lowered the car?
have you read some post on this forum befor you get the tyres.

I think you better do some home work before you do any more mods on your car.

I got 245/35/19 on all 4 wheels and they are all right

actually Im going to guess hes rubbing at both ends!...I have 245/35/19 in the front. Somebody must have suggested running M5 tire configuration - try and do that and you need:
  • M5 front fenders
  • cut rear lip of fender (inside) - no rolling - people keep saying "roll" but these fenders have body filler that will chip out if you try old school rolling
  • new inside read fender well (standard e60 liner doesnt have the clearance)
At this point, either way the fix will cost about $1400.00

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.

The tires in the back will fit fine. The fronts (m5 setup) are too wide for the non M car, as pointed out. A lot of posts on this forum about the 166 rims. You will also notice a fender rub issue under full compression.

The problem is you will probably need to change both. It is believed that if you significantly mis-match your front and rear diameters, you will have a DCS problem. So you choices are:

Option 1 - Replace the fronts with a 245/40/19. You will get a slight rub on the fender lip at full compression, which you may only see when hitting a large bump at high speeds or if your wheels are cranked when you pull into a parking lot. Lowest cost option only changing the front tires, until they wear out, then you can change both front and rear to option 2 sizes.

Option 2 - Replace the fronts to a 35 series and replace the rears to a 30 series. Best choice for no problems at all.

Replacing the fenders to an m5 fender will only work if you also replace the front cover as the m5 fenders are wider.
