What tire size would i be looking for if I went with a 20x8.5 wheels on a xi e60. I want a nice skinny tire.

245/35/20 or 245/30/20 the 30 profile is the more recommended size, but since you live in Jerz (which prolly means you drive in or around NYC occasionally), I say its not criminal to go with the higher sidewall.

BTW you can run staggered setup on an Xi (proven by Calton and DrLev99 a while back ), as long as your overall rolling diameters are within a few tenths on an inch front to back. Do you know how to calculate the wheel diameter?

width=W
profile=P
rim diameter=Dr

Overall rolling diameter =(Wx(P/100)x2)+Dr

Wheel and tire advice will flow freely ... but after you buy your nice 'skinny tires' ... buy a nice fat wheel and tire insurance policy

Learn something again today. Reading this forum is so educational which my wife strongly disagrees.

Yeah, i think i'm going to run 30's. I just want to see pics of rims 20x30 and 20x35 to see the difference. The wheels I ordered are all the same width. (8.5) all around. I got these on a good deal so i'll stay with these for a while. And yes, Wifee's bitch alot...lol I tell my fiance' that the forum is like a free online class
