I just wanted to know if I lowered my 2005 525i with the eibach prokit springs or H&R if it will rub with a 285/30/20 falkans 452 (rears) and 245/30/20 (fronts) set-up. any recommendations on which springs to buy and what will i need in addition to the springs to avoid rubbing? thank you in advance for your responses.

Ok got my tyre specs. Sorry for the super late delay. My front is 245/35/20 and my rear is 275/30/20. No rubbing issues whatsoever. Runs perfect.

Welcome back 525iSE! Where are the pics of your new ride?

What compelled you to come back? Mbenz just wasn't cutting it?

Btw, whats the offset for your 20's? I plan on getting a set soon and I have mine lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit. with the same specs, 245/35/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear. Also I plan on changing my shocks. Still stock shocks. What would you recommened? I still want to keep the Eiback Pro Kit springs.

Koni's? Bilsteins?

@flybeam52

I recommend you change the shocks. the Koni FSDs are great in my opinion.

@nigxdoof

Thanks for the welcome. MB was really fun, but I got a really good deal for the 520d (only diesel model in Thailand :thumbsdown and I really wanted to try out diesel. After ecu remapped and sprint booster installed, it was just too fun. Didn't care too much about the LCI, I could just do the LCI lights conversion and I"m set. As for the offsets, I got the original classic 2 from Hartge, so I believe its front offset 18 and rear offset 22 according to www.hartge.de but I didn't run their recommended tyre specs. For the pics, I'm waiting to do my quads exhaust with new diffuser or M5 rear, not sure yet. Plus I can't find my camera charger I'll get the pics up ASAP.

flybeam52.... what causes your wheel to rub is not only depends on your tire size... offset is the most important...

u can be running on 245 all round but with wrong offset... you will still rub

btw its better than you run on 285/25/20 rears
