I'm thinking of swapping out the stock Dunlop dsst

tires for regular non-dsst's. Does anyone know if the wheels

on the new 5er support only dsst's or can regular tires be fitted.

My reason for changing is that after 12k mi the noise level is really

loud and handling is deteriorating.[PS- is the FTM system affected

by non dssm's?] Thanks.

You can put any tire on that fits.
the FTM is based on tire rotation speed, not tire pressure.

Any tire can go on those wheels - I just put Michelin Pilot A/S on the OEM 18" wheels. You will need to recalibrate your tire pressure sensor via Idrive.
