Default Tire size help, noob and need advise!

I am very stuck between what tire sizes to run on my car.

Car is a 545i with coilovers installed

My rims are

20x8.5 et20 front
20x10 et20 rear

At first i wanted to run a stretch tire look but then opted out of it because the roads in chicago are pretty crappy after this winter so i decided on a more meaty/aggressive look, and to protect the rims as well.

The tires im looking at now are 255/35 front and 285/30 rear. ( i do know that my speedometer will be off by about 4.5% and i am fine with that )

Anyone run these sizes without rubbing?
Will i need to roll my fenders? ( i am lowered on coilovers )
and will those tires be enough for rim protection or will i have to go wider in the back?

Suggestions?

Any help is appreciated

according to rolling diameter you should be running a 245/30/20 and a 275/25/20. we usually recommend 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 for more rubber/rim protection, but will more than likely have you rub. you can always have the fenders rolled though to cure the rubbing.

Well i went with 245/35/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the back. Im lowered where there is only maybe a quarter inch gap between the tires and the fenders and i only get slight rub in the back on big dips. Otherwise absolutly no problems with those offsets and glad i went with those tire sizes.

Wheels are so far out in the front and back i dont even need spacers unless i want a very tight fitment with rolled fenders.

Same here. No rubbing except under full compression.
