Good question.

The figure on the sidewall of the tire is the 'MAX' pressure you should not exceed.

The closer you set the pressure to the MAX recommended, the more bulbous the tire becomes which encourages uneven wear. On the other hand setting the pressure too low decreases handling performance around corners and causes the engine to consume more gas.

For what it's worth, I usually set my tire pressure to be about 5-7 PSI less than the MAX recommended.

Almost all setups should run between 35-38 psi regardless of wheel/tire size.

Do check the sidewall of the tire though as a reference.

Also check the inside edge of the door or sill and see what factory recommends.

You can also play with tire pressure to see what feels best, believe it or not +/- 3 psi makes a difference!

I keep my iFORGED at 42psi front and about 41 rear and although the ride is alittle more brittle, i NEVER have any issues with potholes or bumps, and the car is lowered about 2.5 with full coilover suspension (stiff) LOL

Here's a quick pic

D2,

Very nice wheels!

How many miles have you put on them?
When you originally ordered the wheels, how long did it take to get to you? Right now, they are saying 5-6 weeks.

Thanks.

like you said "almost"

Whats the Max pressure for the tire? 51psi? I would go between 38 to 43pis. about 75% -ish of the MAX pressure.

the OEM 18" #124 wheels on the 545 are recommended 36 and 44 psi. I run 38/44

reviving this thread.

I want to see what other members are running with their 20" setups.

I'm running 35psi all around but I'm not convinced that's the correct pressure.
