The guy from Top of the Line told me it is illegal to tint the front windows in NJ. He says you have to remove it for inspections!
Anybody have any views..

when u place a folie it is illegal but not for the police strange enough. but when it is in the window (so from the glass factory with certificate) and u have like 23% darkend then it is legal. this option is also more expensive. i am talking about the side front windows not the big window above the steering wheel this completely out of the qeustion.

its illegal in most states if not all,i have limo tint all the way around(not windshield) its only a problem if you get pulled over by a dick cop! my father in law is a cop so im not worried about it,but most cops wont write you up for bs tickets unless your a dick or they are. so its up to you, if you get a ticket for it your just going to have to take it off and leave it off or put it right back on after inspection. good luck

 

the reason why its illegal,is when they look into your mirror and cant see into your car cause its to dark it become dangerous for them if they have to pull you over
