So I tinted the Clear Turn Signal sections of my rear lights today. I got the tint from here: Tail Tint

Since it only cost me $20 w/ shipping, I figured it was worth a try. I'm going to wait for the Hella LED, OEM Tails to come out and get those, once available. I figured this was worth a try in the interim. Subtle, yet not too overpowering, right? A cheap, temporary mod for the time being.

I like it. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, not bad. You need a hairdryer, squeege and a spray bottle of soapy water. Try it. It's $20. Can't hurt.

Looks good, man. I think I may go this route rather than wait for the LED's I was going to get. Would it be easy to remove the film if I didn't like it?

I would think it should come off pretty easy. I'd worry more about it coming off during a car wash/dry.

According to others, it won't come off in car washes, although I don't take my car to car washes. I wash it myself. And yes, it would be easy to take off. Just take a hairdryer, heat it up and peel it off. You may need some goo gone or acetone to get the glue off, but it says it's pretty easy, per the instructions when it comes to removing it. I like it. I already got a bunch of comments on it.

You didnt want to smoke the red part instead of the clear part? still look great, but I prefer to have the red tinted. Still a great mod.

Looking good, mate.
Had thought about the Hella completely smoked ones, but with the LED's looming large at the horizon, I thought I'd keep my powder dry until they are out.

Nice mod, looks good, although I prefer, on a black car, to let white part shining and smoke the red part.

ADVICE: don't use alcohol, acetone or any other solvent on any acrylic parts. After some hours/days, they will CRACK
