So then I went ahead and got some 20% tint and stretched it onto my tail lights to give it a bit more of a darker look. Also went ahead and blacked out my emblems with black tape. I tinted the clear part of the light and the blinkers still show a nice orange at night. Going to attempt to attach some pics...........

Difficulty wasn't TOO bad. The blacked out emblem was tedious because I wanted to make sure that the chrome parts of the emblem still shows so I had to draw multiple times and cut the pieces very carefully. After I finally got the perfect fit I traced it onto the black tape and trimmed those down. I have 2 emblems in the front, one on the license plate, one on the hood and one in the rear. I didn't do the wheels nor my steering wheel. I may do the wheels later but not now.
The tinting was also time consuming, I used several pieces to get it right and tried many different methods to get it to line up correctly and decide how to cut the damn thing without damaging the lense. The pics look fine but if you look really up close the cut on the bottom is pretty half assed and ghetto, haha. But even from a slight distance they look fine. I may do it over again later simply because I have some extra left over and also have some other ideas to get a cleaner cut for a better fit.

Hey Dan, do you think after several washings, the tape on the roundels might peel off?
I've also been thinking of tinting my tail lights but was going to do the opposite; smoke the red portion but leave the white part untouched.

Haha bastards! I don't think I'll be scrubbing the hell out of the emblem during car wash, but I'm weary of that, and the tint too. I think the tint may be more effected, and I'll have to be careful about that too. If it does start to peel, I'll just rip the damn thing off.
