Just got pulled over for tinted windows, cop said he could not see me, and in PA you not allowed to tint below 70% I have 30%.
My tint is very light and it is not a first time I tint. He said to take off tint or he will site me every time he sees me.
Any ideas how to fight this?

 

Unless you can get a note from the doctor saying you can handle bright lights you might as well take the tint off.

As far as I knew any window tint that isn't on cargo area windows is illegal in PA.

The cop knows your car and he'll pull you over again.

Leaving the sunshade open on your sunroof might help you with the next cop, but I don't think it will help you with the last one.

i swear to god sometimes i hate cops.. (my dad is one) but i got pulled over the other day.. he just APPEARED behind me, started jaabbering about my rear views.. tint.. more then 5% blah blah blah.. i coudlnt even listen any further.. i showed him my license, reg and then he wanted insurance too.. (fuc#er) lol

i told him my father was on the job.. he let me go.. threw my license at me and told me to take it off.. he i even had all the windows down and roof open to make it lighter.. oh well.. PA pigs are worse for some reason.. ive had issues with them too.. they are relentless.. in my experience anyway.. i hope you can aviod this jerk.. open windows alot.. dead of winter and all! or get a badge from someone to help you out..

 

I think it's a alpine white BMW is what did it, this is my 3rd ticket in 8 month, it's some kind of profiling

 

I just go one two weeks ago...over in Nor Cal. BikeCop(the worst) I figure if I get three then im done and taking it off, problem is my car is black on black. Its like 100$ to just pay it but im tryn to get a friend sign it off, then its just $10.

Cops here in Taiwan don't seem to bother with tint that much, they're busy with laser guns! LOL

On the way to work, I just passed FOUR cops shooting lasers -- My detector was too noisy today. I dunno what it is but it seems that the past few days, I've come across over 2 dozen laser spots on the 2nd Freeway....

Yeah, that and also checkpoints for DUI's... Never had a problem and my car is tinted beyond help! LOL Nothing can be seen.

 

its a white hater thing! or maybe our tint just looks really dark against the beautiful stunning white cars there hating.. and were driving! lolol.. ya think?

 

I had 5% limo tints for 2 months, and now I have 15% and have never been pulled over. I think legal limit here is 30% in the front. You've got some bad luck brother

Just roll down the windows or open your sunroof when you see a cop! That's what I do most of the time.
