Okay I just checked Florida law and it states that the front side windows can only be 28% and the rest can all be 15% except for the windshield of course.
I am now trying to debate whether to do 28% all around or 28% front 15% back side and rear.
Would having 28% and then 15% look funky? How does 28% look on a black car?

We can't tint the front side windows at all so it's much more trickier to make a good looking tint.
My suggest to you is (what I would do), that tint all your side windows 28% and rear 15%. The side would look solid instead of a visible line in the middle.

In any case what ever you do, don't mix the front and rear windows make sure you got the same all the way around. It looks horrible when the rear passenger windows are darker then the front windows. If anything you could go 20% on the 4 doors and limo on the back window. If you just want it dark, limo all the way around is too dark, but in that hot florida sun definitely go 20%

I would go 20% all around, had it on my previous black on black Audi and it was perfect. Really it depends on how strict the cops/inspections are in your state. In Texas and Colorado they are somewhat lax about it, even though 20% all around would be illegal.

Ok, A friend of mine has the tint from the place where I am getting it. Their tint is a little lighter than most tints. So I think I will be getting 15% around. Maybe 5% on the sunroof.

35% here.
Never been stopped for it. I do worry a bit more when I remove the front license plate though. Thinking that if they stop me for the plate, they might site me for the tint too

i had 35 on my audi which was all black.. on the bmw though i got 20.. thought the 35 would be too light.. you can go either or i think.. is your interior is dark.. then 35 should be ok.. if its light then maybe 20.. personally i like the 20 better... more private
