My Ride: 2008 E60 535i
Thoughts on first year with 08 535
This is my first BMW and I am completely in love with it. I am a overall car enthusiast, coming from the domestic and import scene I've had my share of likes and phases.
I decided on a E60 after going back and forth with with a E90. In my opinion the n54 was a must. After searching for half a year I finally found what I wanted.
Turns out I inherited the maintenance of a e60 at 70k miles. In the first 7 months I needed to replace trans and oil housing seals, battery, control arm bushings, water pump, wheels, brake pads/rotors, coils, plugs, and brake flush. Needles to say I was pretty frustrated, but understood it needed to be done.
At this point, this is the best car I have ever owned. I understand it requires more attention than most, I'm ok with that, it's worth it.
After getting the maintenance out the way, here are my current mods:
-JB4
-BMS DCI
-M5TECH front bumper from umnitza.
-Style 95 wheels, wrapped in 235/35-19 and 285/30-19
-Ebay angel eyes
-HID EXTRA 6k low beams and fogs
-Ebay multi piece all around light kit
-Blacked out badges
-3m dinoc carbon wrap on the interior trim
-H&R 5mm front and 10mm rear wheel spacers
-10 inch sub
I plan on coilovers and more performance mods after we settle down with our first child.
Just a few pics. Nothing special.

jb4 is the best price and upgrade if you plan on continuing to do mods
I believe that even on a stock car its amazing the difference.
it is a mod you will not be disappointed with
this is my personal opinion, I am not payed by or connected to burger in any way.

My Ride: 2010 535i xdrive
Model Year: 2010
I picked up my 2010 535ix over the summer and after much research and talking with vendors, the Cobb was the best fit for me.
I got a used cobb v2 for $500 and it is amazing. Plug and play. Using stage 1 sport and the car is much quicker and gas MPG is up 30%.
I went for the Cobb because of how simple it is to download your MAP to the device and then upload a new MAP. Takes 25 mins all-in and all you do is hit the install button. So simple.
But the Cobb is also much more than this. You can check out their website for more details.
I think topgearsolutuons is selling new Cobb v3's for $795.
I just got my FMIC, charge pipe, DV's and OCC and they are being installed over turkey day weekend. So pumped and looking forward to uploading a new Cobb tune once finished.

Hey what's up Kidduce. Yeah you got most of the main maintenance things out of the way. You might want to look at replacing all your vacuum lines since they dry out and start cracking causing issues with WG not actuating correctly. Glad you are now enjoying it. Btw AW is a great color.
