very interesting but it says 150watt max. Wonder what would be the best sub to use then.

The 150 watts max is the input limit for the LOC. This really make adding an aftermarket amp/sub a really easy project.

bwhahaha mine's in the mail already....i've had an amp and sub in the garage for years gathering dust...can't wait to hook this up

Felix, I notice your post over e90post. Glad you got one for yourself. Technic knows his stuff when it comes to BMW electronics.

So where is the Stock amp located? And does this require an additional amp to power a external boxed subwoofer? Sounds easy but a DIY would be sweet.

Do you have Logic7? the amp is located in the trunk next to the TCU. Yes it requires an additional amp to power the sub.

Unfortunately my car came with thw.basic system, 6.6"screen with subs under seat and speakers only on front doors & the rear seat shelf, nothing on the rear doors.
does anyone know an easy way, Plug N Play, to add a sub or amp to it?
