I prefer AW E60s with a roof painted black rather than CF.

I was gonna wrap my roof with cf but realize it might be tacky ...
We all know no they don't make cf roof for e60 and don't like to have matte roof when I have glossy hood..

Just paint them glossy black

Allow me to add a whole new level to this confusion of yours:

if you look at the blow-up above you'll notice that the roof on the e60 is one single piece...

Now, if you go HERE, you'll be able to order yourself some real dry carbon fibre and an entire kit to make a mold of the roof and make a whole new roof piece out of carbon fibre. Anything else would be fake and ultimately, will look fake too IMHO.

Seriously though, I have to agree with what most people said - either paint it gloss black or do the whole dry CF roof piece like I said. Doing a CF roof out of real dry CF will require you recruit someone with an excellent working knowledge of shaping CF molds and you'll probably need to cure it in some kind of oven, so it might be a LOT more PITA than its worth. Not to mention, there's the whole sunroof thing to work around. That said, dry carbon fibre looks GORGEOUS and if you do do it, I'll bow in your presence
