Don't do it. Everyone that sees your car will know its a 520i with a 1 cylinder engine. Keep the 530 on there!

I badged my car after buying it! It came badge-less.
BTW, if you de-badge now and then decide that you would like to re-badge, ask a European member to send you a 518i badge...

Is it just using dental floss to remove the 5xxx emblem and cleaning with some type of goo gone? Will there be any holes?

Just clean the area after the badge has been removed.
