Don't do it. Everyone that sees your car will know its a 520i with a 1 cylinder engine. Keep the 530 on there!

i would debadge mine, unless it was a 550i or 545i. If your getting the m5 bumper than it might look weird with a 530i emblem so yes debadge it. IMo it would look nice

I badged my car after buying it! It came badge-less.

BTW, if you de-badge now and then decide that you would like to re-badge, ask a European member to send you a 518i badge...

A decade ago, I sent a "315" badge to a friend in the US for his E46 330i!

Is it just using dental floss to remove the 5xxx emblem and cleaning with some type of goo gone? Will there be any holes?

Nope.

Just clean the area after the badge has been removed.
