Who's car is that in the pics? It looks so generic - I can't tell if that's anyone's car or just the stock photos

j/k Love the 172's - congrats
Your turn Vlad

Sweet! Car looks great John. Congrats.
Again, thanks Scott, at least I no longer need spacers for the wheels to sit right

172s go so well the the M Tech kit.

They are very aggressively styled wheels and as such, they go perfectly with the aggressive look of the E60 with M Tech kit. I think they'd look out of place on the much more traditionally styled E39 and the upcoming F10 which seems to be going for a more conservative, traditional look than the E60 -- just as my beloved, dearly departed M Parallel wheels that graced by E39 540i Sport would probably look out of place on my E60.

Yeah, I was iffy about them, but I do like the way they fill the wheel wells. Still looking for a nice set of matte grey or black wheels to fit the car, but I think they will be of a similar concave style since they seem to fit the wells so much better. VMR's?

V710s are beautiful looking wheels. If i were in California, i might get them. Here in NYC, several members who have them have reported that potholes have bent them. One of my friends here in NYC has a very nasty and large bend in them from a pothole. That would make be reticent to buy them here in pothole-ridden NYC but in So Cal, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. There are beautiful looking and inexpensive.

Agreed, I have had rims in NYC and have had to repair several - usually during winter when snow covers the potholes and BAM!!!
