I have 520D . Here in UK I recently noted Tesco is selling biodiesel.and fuel cap says 'No Biodeiesel'
I filled in couple of times and suddenly my car showing due Oil Service. hooked it to diagnostics and it says Engine oil quality poor and needs Oil change.

Is it Bio diesel which Screwed the engine Oil. I never realised Tesco was selling Bio Diesel

Anyone else had similar expeience

I've stopped using Tesco fuel over 5 years ago as I was told that the fuel was inferior to main brand fuel. I also noticed I got a few mpg more with Shell. This story and the Tesco fuel contamination situation a while back just reinforces this whole idea. I always find that Shell are same or cheaper price than Tesco anyway.

With regards to your situation, if the pump is saying contradicting messages about bio diesel, then you should complain to head office. Don't bother complaining to the people behind the counter as they will probably ignore it and there is little they can do anyway. Good luck with it all.

under no circemstances shold you use bio-desiel in these engines, thats why it says on the fuel cap, also warns not to in the car manual.
