Brett,

I think you should spray the calipers instead of doing them by hand. You can see that there are parts of the caliper you missed as a result of brushing....and it's easier! Just cover the exposed pads.

It won't harm anything by getting some paint on the rotors.....will just come right off when you brake. Take some daylight pics when you are done!

thanks for the advice, i did notice that when i got a little paint on the rotors i just scratched it off with my nails. it came off easy. I know for a fact some of those areas that look missed arent. Camera, lighting, angel - all poor. I painted every little crack and crevice on those things. I was thinking after im done with the fronts today im going to take the can and just light mist the front and back to kind of throw a smooth top coat on everything. So basically drlev i just need to not hit the back of the brake pad correct?

Im taking my camera to the garage today after school to hopefully finish up and then take some solid pictures!

fronts are drying as we speak. got pics of the rears with the wheels on. It looks amazing!! Black hubs and black calipers with the dark barrels looks perfect. im glad i didnt do red or white, red would look stupid with my white and black theme.

I really didnt think the black would stand out that much but it does. It shines and has a pop to it. Pictures and a new thread coming later tonight.

Funny, I did my hubs in silver and the calipers in black. All I was thinking about was getting rid of those rust stains on the hubs. Now in retrospect it would have been interesting to see how black would have looked on the hubs. Can't wait to see your pics. GL

back to oversized bimmian overlays until someone finds the answer for the 20in miro 69mm center cap!

I purchased the Bimmian overlays as well for my roundels. I just trimmed them down to fit. Not perfect, but not too bad. Here's a pic or two;
