My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
So my "Phoenix" is rising from the ashes gloriously with a brand new clutch, flywheel and starter. She is purring like a kitty now and shift action is awesome with the CDV-delete. More on that in the official "Rising From The Ashes" thread (coming soon), but in the meantime I've taken a few iPhone shots of the headlights with the newly-installed Orions.
BIG RESPECT TO DKNEWYORK for coming through on the headlights in time and doing an awesome job. I didn't want to do anything that may look bootleg, so Dan and Ken installed and wired the Orions and erased the orange corners with v. 2.0 euro overlays (courtesy of AKAlius - thanks for the speedy shipping, Phi! ). I decided against white eyebrow and clear lens. Clear lens, in retrospect, may be a must btw, when doing Orions - otherwise the Orions look brighter than the low beam xenons lol
I'm waiting for a nice day to wash the car and do a proper photoshoot, so I can post a full thread with the entire write-up (not to mention, I have to give it up to Martin of MNC in Lynbrook for the awesome job diagnosing and fixing the car). Also, the heads are throwing "active headlamp malfunction" code - which is probably minor, so I've gotta sort that out too. But for now, here are a few "dirty shots":

Lookin good Vladdy. I would pick these up quickly, if it weren't for my disgust for the douchenozzles at Umnitza.

Looking good. Glad you choose to stick it out with your car. Can't wait to see it clean with those shining.
