Are you sure you want to do this yourself?
I wouldn't trust myself with 150 dollar tails...

I would not spray these yourself. Very expensive if you make a mistake. I would use one of these two options:

guys, lacquer can remove the tint spray. Im taking them out and taping them off. This process shouldnt be that hard and i can do it. My dad is self employed and has been a painting for over 14 years! I GOT THIS!!! thanks for the concern though.

btw i could resist, car is garaged and the lights are out. Cleaning and prep work tonight and spray tomorrow!! Wish me luck

Yes, Laquer thinner will remove the tint spray AND it will melt the plastic tail lights.

Good Luck, I hope it works out for you.

Well there has to be a product that removes tint spray without damaging the tails. I will look into it tomorrow before i do any painting. Maybe paint a friends lights first on his acura legend and see what happens. practice makes perfect!!

have the lights completely out and cleaned. Second guessing the idea of tinting them black. Part of me is saying leave them stock because they are near perfect. Other part says do it. Im not second guessing my ability to do the mod, that should be easy. I just dont know if i want to do this. Input? Suggestions?
