Hey fellas, those of you that has sway bars on your car. What brands do you have and how you guys liked them? I am interested in getting eibach sway bars. I recently changed out my struts to bilstein hds on stock sport springs. After a few hundred miles now I feel the handling is not what I expected. It feels loose and unconnected to the road. I know, I shoulda went with coilovers but I need the funds to replace the steering angle sensor. So for those that has sways please chime in on how it changed the handling on your e60. Cheers and thanks!!

Don't have sways, but I hear H&R sway bars are stiffer and stronger. Also RDSport sway bars are lighter.

I put an H&R rear sway bar on my 528i, non-sport. Fine piece of kit, tightened up back end very nicely. Eibach is good, too, have one of those on my X5. Or could be the other way around, but I do have both.

Suggest you consider a front strut tower bar - I installed a Cusco on each of my e60s, again a noticeable improvement.

Thanks for all the info guys. I did a search here on the sway bars. Now that I've read some of the threads that E60s with the sport package, it comes with active steering and ARS. So sway bars can not be installed?

Ha ha...550 non-sport seems pretty rare. What you have is way better than any sway bar.

Maybe its just me, i might be expecting too much from the new struts. Umm.. I should go to a dealership and test drive a non sport e60 and compare.

Sport package ARS is more effective than upgraded sways on non-sport. Think about the strut tower bar even if you have ARS, though.

Hey how much noticeable would adding a strut tower bar be? I've been thinking about putting one on but still debating.
