Default Sway bar end link replacement - shorter?

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their sway bar end links after lowering their e60?
It is an extremely tight fit and would like a shorter link to fit better.
Any help would be appreciated
Tyler

yes, although you shouldn't be having any trouble replacing the sway bar links, they are SUPER easy to get to even on a lowered car.

i am thinking since mine is X-drive that i could put on the non-awd links (i think they are a bit shorter).

What all do you gain by having adjustable links?

i have Coilovers on my car so the mounting point for the sway bar link is about 2" lower than stock. having a shorter link takes the "pre-load" of the sway bar that the standard length link puts on it.

It's really not necessary unless you are slamming or bagging your car.
