Sounds like a major PIA. I would like to this but it's cost prohibitive and could be a headache down the road.

I have M5 folding mirrors but my car does not have this feature. What is needed to get folding mirrors to work?

A xp based laptop and interface to connect to your ODBII connector.

Interesting post. I'm already very committed to another member of these forums regarding material and support for this upgrade and should have everything completed in the coming weeks. This may be a redundant question, but do you have the codes for voice recognition for the new CIC?

You are correct, I probably shouldn't have said that.

I always keep all of my old parts just in case I even need to go back.

What do you have to have to get DVD in motion? I have an 06 550i with iDrive....is the code all I need to have this feature?
