Yea i am looking into getting a drop for my 525i..i was wondering if you guys can post specs of you spring/strut combo..or coilover setup.. i want coilovers because you can slam it to the ground (but since my previous car had coilovers the ride was rough as heck) that is why i am considering a spring/strut combo setup i also wanted to know which spring/strut combo offers the lowest drop but maintains decent ride quality

If you want the 525 to look like your previous slammed car, I'd say go with H&R Race springs and Koni Sport shocks. What do you know, I have such a combo for sale.

welcome. +1 for H&R race springs to give the slammed look as far as springs go. i believe member black525i even cut the race springs for his e60 to have it sit even lower. good luck with the mod and enjoy the forums.

Thanks for the input guys,,, will my previous car which was a maxima had coilovers.. i still have the car.. and am on maxima.org... they have a thread/sticky pretty much for everything coilovers, headers, exhaust, wheel/tire combo. i haven't picked up my 5 yet i just went to look at some. i actually have one that i have my eye set on... but as far as which one i wanted. i wanted the 545i 6spd.. ( but that one is a lil pricey).

Also how is the ride quality on the h&r compared to stock...

vegastrashed.......your RIDE is SIC...... can you pm me the specs for your 20's and the M wheels (offset, size and tire) thanks......

I'll just list the specs of the VIP VR02 and OEM 166 wheels here.

VIP VR02: 20x9 and 20x10, offsets 15mm(f) and 30mm?, Toyo T1R 245/30/20 and 285/25/20

166: 19x8.5 and 19x9.5, offsets 12mm(f) and 28mm? with 12mm spacers, General Exclaim UHP 245/35/19 and 275/30/19

thanks again vegastrashed... hey what do you think about those General Exclaim UHP... i have them on my 19's on my Max.. i think for the buck there really good......
