I must say I agree with the above. All that extra horsepower begs some improvement on the brakes and chassis stability. Come to think of it though, a lot of members have gone for pretty hefty chip tuning on their 530D let alone the 535D - what's their conclusion - have they noticed a need for uprated brakes or chassis improvement ?

Well done BetterMakeWay! I couldn't say it better. It's all common sense.

Indeed. And i'm sure it needs it, as the factory brakes don't cope that well with the extra stress and fade is iminent. I myself with stock engine ouput will soon start moding the suspension parts to improve the handling.
I disagree : imho it's possible to go even with factory brakes, in the normal drive on road ... Sure, if you go down *very* fast from a mountain for more than 5-10 mins standard brakes aren't sufficient anymore .

J/Kbut if you sometimes drive it hard like you said or you just speed at over 250km/h then good brakes are a must. Stopping from 250+ won't have anything to do with brake fade. I for one like to do those things as often as possible, of course not on our roads and not when the law forbids it

Better, imho it is sufficient to install, on rear OEM rotors, good pads instead of OEM pads .
