With the TS kit out now I beleive they are droping off 1k for most Centiforged kits now.

i think you mean centrifugal supercharger versus twin screw.
VF engineering uses a Vortech centrifugal type charger for all their cars and have stayed away from twin screw. I like the move personally, there is a reason that centrifugal chargers are the most common systems around for every car.... especially on a V8.
The TS kits are very nice from ESS, AA, etc for the 3 series, it would be nice if someone would make an application for our V8s.

Don't make any illusions that your SMGI will adore the supercharger. In fact when moding this much on the engine almost anything on the car takes an impact in reliability.
Anything but a supercharger at low psi will not hurt too much the M5 imo. If the output is raised to 650-max 700bhp or so at similar torque numbers probably it will be more than enough. Hell the standard M5 is just a dream but to add the extra power combined with 7 gears....
