My Ride: 2005 530i Silver Gray/ Gray Leather. SP,PP
I got a lot of PM's about the service and wanted to be clear on the specifics.
For those interested in doing the upgrade and dont want to do it themselves, A friend of mines is willing to do it for $110 plus parts. The parts which include LEDs and silicone is $45.
You will have to ship the headlights to me and pay for the return shipping. He can only do it on Sundays. If i get the lights by saturday, they will ship out on monday.

Hey... Just a note on this... You may want to specify LCI, or non-LCI. The LED's ordered for pre LCI are much (4x) bigger than the LED's on LCI. The LED's on LCI circuit board fit into a smaller holes than non-LCI. It would be a very difficult task to desolder/solder the tiny 1/6" LED's on the new style lights... if you have the proper equipment, I'm sure it can be done. If you want, I can either post the pics on this site or provide you pics of a new LCI light taken apart.
I'm sure you have the non-LCI eyebrow service down pat... Let us know if it's the same deal for the LCI lights.

And will he guarantee the work? What if something goes wrong with the LED'S and they burn out? Or what if water leaks in the crack in which he will cut out of the Headlight. Just wondering. Because I am interested. Thanks

I'll post some pics for you nelson tonight....If water happens to get in, its not hard to take it apart and blow it out...Then you just re-seal them....I had water get in one and its very simple to open up and fix once the initial job is done....Nothing to worry about....I believe the only reason water got in mine is because it was raining really bad and the silcone wasn't completly cured...Nelson did a great job and was very fast and communicated with me the whole time!!
