Does anyone have any photos or can they describe the slipstream deflector or their '06 e60? (the spring loaded deflector that pops up when the roof is open). Mine was missing the part, and I had them install it. It is a serrated edge part, similar looking to what is on the 3 series, but metal. The part that was depicted in another post on this site looked like a smooth piece. I'm wondering if they got the right piece. The sunshde seems to hit it when closing now. Any commets are appreciated.

My '06 had the same problem. Dealer did some adjustment to fix it. I've read on here that it may also be the source of a metallic rattle coming from that area.

Thanks- that looks like the part. Looks like they need to continue to adjust it.

Mine was making the rattle after the dealer put in a new seal....took it back and they adjusted the deflector to make it sit lower, and it took care of the rattle
