Came home early today so got to work on this retrofit.
I can confirm it to a be a complete success!,
Front screen quick clear works
driver side vent control works for all vents but they can be manipulated individually (top, middle, bottom).

Independent ventilation mode timer works
Max cooling mode works
Manual vent control mode works (for all vents but can be set top middle and bottom individually)
Extra heat or extra cooling works for both auto and manual modes
Solar sensor not fitted yet due to waiting for the 4-pol connector (will do this friday)

Auc sensor needed for auto recycle (I may add this at a later date)
Rear fresh air grill high version can be added really easy and I may do this as well at a later date
Condensation sensor can also be added fairly easily.

I will do a DIY for this.

Get the parts first and then we will talk, I will need to find out what's different between the LCI and pre-LCI panels.
I did a DIY which shows what parts are needed.

I haven't either. Is this for E60's that have a more basic HVAC system? I assuming people who have the different looking (dual climate) control panel (like mine, see pic) already have these features?

Sorry this image isn't very zoomed in on the AC controls, it's the only one I could find on my work PC

The only AC that was offered in the US was the High edition, and not the basic one, which is standard in Europe. So you have the "best" ;-)

Nice one Blood
Didn't think that could be possible without new ducts and all.
One question though, I see you have the CCC which I'm sure you coded for the new functions to work but would that also work in a M-ASK iDrive?
The timers for the heat would be awesome in winter.
