I?m planning to install totally new sound system to my BMW, but first I would need some information from you who have already played with the current system. Currently I?m planning to reuse the space of the original "subs" and install new speakers there. I would appreciate a lot if you could answer to the following questions:

1) How big speaker will fit under the seat? I know that Earthquake SWS-8 is "plug and play", but is that the maximum depth of the speaker that can be installed there or would it be possible to install sub which has more depth, like Focal Utopia Be 13 WS (installation depth 66mm) ?

2) What is the total volume of the original subwoofer box under the seats? Is it made of plastic or what?

Also if you have some pictures, how does it look like under the seat, please post it here or send the link where to find them.
