Got it ! As I said to you before I personally like the look of the 172's over the 166's but I wanted to change up the look from my 07 550 . Good luck, either way your car will look fantastic !!
looks like M172 has picked up its momentum .....lets see how far it goes.... I really want the them too.... but then again 166 are sooooooooo nice...its like Jessica Alba vs Angelina Jolie.... of course AJ is the M166 lol!!

Tires are 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear.
Peter, the car has the regular sport suspension. The wheels seem to fill out the wheel wells more nicely eventhough their diameter is the same as my prior #124 wheels and yes, I added the M-Aero kit about a year after buying the car. I think i'm done changing things now.

). Have Falkens 275/35/19 in the back and rim sticks out from sidewall. I am now looking for some 285/30/19's for the rear. Oh, did you have any color match issues when you ordered your MTech aero kit? I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a kit in the next day or so. Would like to get it painted out the box but some have said color match issue. Thanks have a good day

BlueMajik,
It's seems to be tire issue, here's my rear w/ 275/30/19 GE-UHP:

Hi Lomag, I like the blue beauty. I am trying to get mine Forum Ready. The meet/greet last weekend was great. Only two Blue 5ers though (me and DBU).
Hey I think I have some serious tire issues. I bought a set of Falkens last week. I put my M5 166's on and the rim is protruding beyond the tire sidewall.
I have 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear, just like most post in the forum says. Is it the Falkens? should I get a different type of tire? Looks like you are running 285/30/19 on the rear, do you think that will work for my 530i MY05 Sport package?
here are some pixs.
