Had my M5 wheels fitted today with Conti Sport Contact2s

I have just been out on a dry run on the new wheels and tyres and I am very pleased with the result. I honestly think that the car's comfort levels have increased rather than suffered, no doubt helped by a lack of runflat tyres.

The Contis are obviously not yet bed-in and I will therefore reserve judgment on these tyres for a little while yet.

And finally, the best part of the whole transformation for me is that the Style #166 wheels are a doddle to clean compared to the Style #135Ms

Pics [excuse the diry car ]:

Your wheels look very good. But, dirty car? Shame. Shame.

Congratulations...looks superb.

hey what tire size did u get? 245/35 f and 285/30 back?the m5 tire size or the 172m tire size?
I assume you didn't use spacers.
i;m asking theese because iw ant the 166 rims also and i want to know what combination did u use to make it look that good and not to rub.

That's a good question! The M5 sizes are 255/40 and 285/35 - surprisingly 'high' profile!

apologies again for the dirty car, weather is not on my side - went out to clean it and it started to rain

Tyre sizes are BMW spec, i.e. 245/35 and 275/30

They are cute...i wish my car came with different ties. I dont think those Style 122 that come with 525 with sport pkg are not cute at all. I am learning not to let that bothers me.

oh well..anything is possible.
