Just after some opinions on oem wheels for my 530d se. Instead of the 17" style 122. which style Would look the best 124 or 135 ? Also I think both these styles come on cars with sports suspension as standard. If so how much lower does this sit the car over the wheels

My Ride: Current - 330 Sport Topaz Blue, Grey Leather, HK HIFI...lost interest!! Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.

Sports Suspension drops the car 15mm, I like the 135's which come as std on the sport. Git to keep clean, but thats whats coming on mine. Thought about 172 19", but decided to go 20" for summer (May - October) and keep the 18" for winter.

Yeah, 19"s would be nice but after blowing my whole 1st years company dividend on my dreamcar, funds are a bit limited. Looking out for a set of wheels on ebay complete with tyres. for a lot less than main dealer money.Wonder if I could stretch to a lowering kit as well ?Any idea of cost and type to go for?.

I know main dealer prices can be a bit pricey but phone around. My own dealer qouted me ?1240 for a set of 18" 135 style but on phoning another main dealer they offered me discount for buying a set of four at ?1054. I picked up four Dunlop SP 9000's from a local tyre wholesaler and the BMW dealer fitted the tyres and wheels at no charge. Also be aware that some insurance companys are not too keen on you fitting after market wheels and usually bump up the premium accordingly. All worth thinking about if you go for non BMW wheels. By the way they look great on my titanium silver ride and can recommend them
