My problem is solved A guy at my office sold his 550 last year and got an M3. I heard he still had his winter wheel/tires. I purchased them from him this evening. They were 17'' style 144 and the tires still had plenty of tread on them. Also they are NOT runflat so I am looking forward to seeing how the ride improves without the runflat tires...... I'll be hooked up by this weekend!

That's actually a very nice-looking wheel. Don't know if I've seen that one. Enjoy.

i got stuck this morning on a slightly uphill icy patch at a stop sign. it was pretty funny... the patch was about 10 feet long and all across the road.

i finally had to let the cars behind me go around. i then backed up and went through the patch at about 15 mph.

i forgot about the total lack of traction in snow or ice... its been a while since i owned a bmw.
