Nope, I have a 04 525, I'm gonna update my sig haha. Orions in my opinion are much brighter than LCI. They are technically pure white and visible a LONG way down the road in full sunlight.
Heres a crappy video showing them.
I've actually thought about buying some headlights on ebay to retrofit and then selling them. After modding them once I think it would be easier to do the whole process because I learned alot.

My Ride: A Car

Thanks to John(brabus) for his willingness to deliver me a solution for my AE's. He completed a full lighting upgrade, in and out this afternoon after a rough start.
I'm not so sure this is something he'll be up to doing regularly (if ever again), we just happened to have the tools to complete the retofit available to us at my shop. He can explain to inquiring minds what this entailed, certainly the MTEC V2 was not the part for the job specifically, but we managed to keep the headlight housing unscathed and without modification which is the best part.
I now have MTEC V2's winking at the world on a once Halogen equipped LCI 2008 BMW 528i. Some of you've seen these pics a million times, many on your own cars, but this is a pretty big deal for the Halogen folk wanting to dress up their ride.

Thanks for the pix. I'll be posting more pix tomorrow of the actual modded hybrid angel eye bulb.
Why am I calling it a hybrid? Since the E60 pre-LCI angel eye bulbs are long and deep, you need to secure it into the socket. I cut the factory angel eye metal bulb. Left about 1-1.5cm of the socket area. Shoved and hammerred in the MTEC V2.1 every so slightly in there pushing it about 1.5 cm pass the factory angel eye bulb. Shave down the sides of the MTEC V2.1 bulb on the passenger side since it was a tight fit. Then snapped everything it and worked like a charm. First side took us 45 minutes or more. Second side was a mere 10 minutes!!! With the right tools, it's simple. But looking at the headlight and the angel eye bulb took a good 10 minutes to figure out wtf I can do.

Do not use the MTEC V2.1 for ur car. U need HID angels. Sending you a PM as well.
Same price. Just buy the bulb and u can hack the angel eye bulb urself. I will not be hacking it. I know Manny wanted it done and I had to figure out a way. I was either going to drill into it but since he had a grinder, we decided the grinder is just as good. REMEMBER TO USE PLIERS TO HOLD THE BULB. Friction from grinder into the metal bulb created SO MUCH HEAT LOSS that it will burn you. I had gloves on and I couldn't take the heat at all.
