I was wondering if anybody just bought the sticker emblem decals instead of replacing the whole emblem out? How well does it work? I did a search and the only thing I find close was a post regarding someone who was selling their rims I believe. He has the red/black wheel cap sticker on his wheels.

I have replaced mine both on my ex e46 M3 and then again on my current 550. I bought mine through Bimmian. For me, they have held up great. I wash my car religiously and no problems...plus my car sits in the Texas Sun during day and no fade.

I agree... the stickers to change the roundel colors I purchased from Bimmian.com worked great.. I had them on since last October and just recently replaced them with actual black roundels... the stickers definitely last through washing and is only noticebale to the eye really up close or if you feel it with your finger...

I got the carbon fiber style ones from Bimmian, and they have completely disintegrated in just 4 months. I think it is from the wheel cleaner interacting with the mettalic weave on the sticker. Right now, there is no more "weave" it just looks like a peeling gray sticker with random swirls on it. Not attractive.

I have since replaced my hood and trunk roundels with real CF ones, and they look great. If you are going to get the stickers, I would not get the metallic or CF ones for your wheels.

Here is my thread from when I first installed them: Prior Thread
