Default Steering wheel vibration/shaking with spacers?

I have the 10mm Motorcepts/Bimecc spacers installed on my oem wheels and I started noticing that my steering wheel had a very noticeable shake/vibration when driving normally. The vibration went away at freeway speeds but from 0-60 and in turns, I felt it a lot. I decided to take off my spacers today just to try to isolate the problem and guess what? No more shaking and vibrating. Does anyone have any similar results when using spacers? I have not contacted Motorcepts yet because I wanted to see if this was normal or not.

I am using 8 or 9mm spacers and have got the exact same problem..... Took it down to my mechanic and he suggested me to change to new spacers (better ones). I think i am using H&R ones at the moment..

I'm guessing that fixed the issue?

I still have my 15mm rear Bimecc spacers in and there is no vibration there. It's the front ones that were causing issues.

I had 10mm spacers in the front and it caused vibrations around 60mph. I switched to 12mm BMS spacers and it went away.

Interesting that some people have vibration and some don't.

It could be because of the brand. Time to message Motorcepts. I'll update this thread.

nothing wrong with the brand. we usually recommend 12mm spacers over the 10 when in that range. reason is the 12mm has more support with a slightly bigger hub lip for the wheel to rest on compared to the 10.

So does that mean there's a slight chance of vibration/shaking with 10mm spacers?
