Has anyone around here put on one of those Wheelskins leather steering wheel covers that you sew onto your steering wheel? My stock 545i wheel is a bit on the slim side, and I thought if the steering wheel cover was of sufficient quality, I would just lace one on and be done with it. Besides, they have all these colors available (hopefully one like my Auburn leather) and even a perforated leather version too. I just wondered if they install well, fit tightly and most importantly, DON'T LOOK STUPID! Let me know!

I purchased a cover from 'wheelskins' for a Volvo T5 I owned. The quality of the leather is very good, and it fit snugly. Overall I thought it was a great product relative to everything else I had seen.
The only thing that wasn't 'perfect' is there the leather would fit over the connections to the horn/airbag portion of the weel (where it connects to the outside circumfrence of the wheel). Didn't really look bad though and I might do the same thing on my 5 series just to give the wheel a better leather feel.
