Hi Guy's

Have just ordered this steering wheel , does anyone here at the forum got it in their E60/61 ??? , I saw it 2 years back at a BMW dealership here in Denmark , but haven't been able to find it until now ( on E-bay ) , so I ordered it , expect to recive it today , it is for E60/61 M5 with SMG gear ( I got the paddel shift in my 525IA ) , so it should fit , but we will see , I hope.

I will let you know , and poste some pic.

Yes in singapore. One of the shops is able to use the old E60 steering wheels and customised them into this. Its exactly the same. =)

OR did you mean someone actually MAKES steering wheel rims like this on the cheap there? If yes, I smell a group buy lurking...

Hi

Yes the steering wheel is based on the OEM M5/M6 steering wheel with/without paddelshift ( SMG gear shift ) , the firm is located by M?nich/Germany and it's name is MP-Design , thy take the OEM steering wheel and use that as a base for this customised version , MFL contacts and Air-Bag , paddel's etc. should fit direct from the OEM steering wheel on their customised one , but I will keep you opdated as I get it , and get it fitted in the car .

The shop actually buys old steering wheels from those who retrofit M-steering or such and had the spare OEM wheel sitting around doing nothing. And yes the air bag and controls are meant to be using the original.
