I just painted my chrome trim last month and I know it can be real frustraiting lining up the rubber seal near the mirrors. I was lucky, the seals lined up after a few attempts on each side.

I've often found that when you reach that point of frustration with any project, it's best to walk away from it for a while. When you get back at it, things usually become much clearer. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that this mod is such a PITA. You'll get it done. Worse case scenario: you have to buy some shadowline trim pieces. That doesn't sound like a total budget buster (if you do have to buy some shadowline trim) but it sure does sound aggrevating.

Sorry to hear it's giving you some trouble at the moment. But you'll get through it, and you'll be a bit more stoked that you did this yourself. Some mods are better not rushed. This one appeared quite daunting from the get go, so kudoz to you for giving it a go.
