Are you talking about the stainless lips on single piece wheels? If so, stainless is a biotch to maintain.
Are there any single piece wheels that are not painted that have a real chrome lip on them? All of them Ive seen have just been full chrome wheels that have been painted over. Paint doesnt really stick to chrome permenantly.

one piece yes but as for painted over or not im not sure. im not too familiar witht he design of the rims i look at. from what i understand the chrome lip is only avaialable on 2 or 3 piece wheels right? if thats true then ill have to deal with the polished lip cause any of the 2 or 3 piece rims are too expensive for me right now. just wondering if its a big difference in look/quality.

All the one piece cast wheels I carry, excluding all chome, are either Machined/Polished with a clear coat lip, or a stainless lip, like Vertini, Monarch and Tork wheels.

Ok I may be wrong here but I don't think any rim comes with stainless steel lip, I believe what you guys are talking about is polished lip which is not made of stainless steel. I have polished lip on mine and yes its a bitch to keep polished where as chrome is pretty much maintenance free. the one piece wheels some guys have mentioned I believe are still alloy wheels but have a clear coat painted on the lip to make it maintenance free, where as the forged wheels usually don't have this coating on because you can polish a better shine then with the clear coat.
But someone correct me if I am wrong in thinking that they don't make "stainless steel" wheels.
