Question...I bought a set of 123 wheels. Two of the tires in the front (245-40-18) are new but the other two need to be replaced. So...I bought two tires because they were a good deal. 2----265-35-18's brand new for $150. Will I have a problem mounting them on a 18x8 wheel?Normally staggered fits have like 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear. Are they going to be to wide or will i be ok? Please, I need anwsers back asap.

 

IMHO, I think the 8" width wheel is too narrow to run the 265/35/18. This doesn't mean that people haven't done it. Ideally a 265 width tire mounts on a 9-10.5" width wheel. As good as the deal sounds, I would pass on the 265 and get 245/40/18. Check with Trinity or Acute Performance for tire deals. You can also check with TireRack or Discount Tire Direct.

 

They will probably bulge to the point of awkwardness.

 

He will avoid curb rash on those narrow rims with wide tires. LOL
