quick question, i know the sb is tranny specific but is the sb engine specific? can any auto/manual/smg fit regardless of engine size? thanx

No, the SB is not engine specific. I put my SB on my friends 328i with no problems/engine codes.
I think if you put the manual SB on the auto tranny then it will redline every single gear because in a manual you would decide what gear you want.

My Ride: 2004 530i premium package/active steering/auto sunshade/tiag/black dakota leather/logic 7 35% tint all around 19' DPE GT7

they fit all engines, and also I auto SB can be used for a manual tranny the effect is less aggressive then with a manual SB but this can't be done vise versa. I have a auto SB on my manual car, because I was told that the manual SB was maybe a little too aggressive for daily driving in traffic.
