Getting both is also an option, they aren't competing products and it doesn't have to be either or. I did and it makes my faster more powerful car even more fun to drive.

A sprintbooster doesn't literally floor the throttle w/ minimal pedal pressure...

With the v.2 sprintbooster I have the option to change the settings or turn it off with just the press of a button down by my knee. When it is turned off I hate driving the car, it feels like the parking brake is on. With the v.2 on the green "middle" setting the car is much nicer to drive day-to-day around town and on the interstate. The throttle lag is gone and the throttle is much more precise which matches well with how the E60 handles. The standard throttle would be fine in an old cadillac.

Love it. Makes the car very snappy. For everybody saying that "just flooring it" is the same effect, well that's not true. In a stock car the throttle lag is so bad that you can hear the gas pedal hit the floor - then it get's quiet - then the engine starts to respond. Sprintbooster will have the throttle open almost instantly. Call it fractions of a second better, but isn't that what we are trying to do? Plus it's fun as hell.

Fun as hell is an understatement. Not sure why I never tried this before but I switched it over to red mode, turned off DSC, and put it in sports mode. Holy mother of cow! Talk about an untamed BEAST! I was chirping my tires in 3rd gear! I have a totally new perspective on the sprint booster.

I need to get one of these. I've been looking at them off and on for over a year now. A used V1 is pretty cheap now, but I would love the ease of being able to switch it on and off. V2 or V1? hmmmm

V2 gets my vote since you can turn it on/off and select between the green and red settings depending on mood.
